Our 10 commandments

1. THOU SHALL NOT COVET THY NEIGHBOURS GOODS

We won't ever contact your clients unless you ask us to. If you do ask us to deal directly with them we will always act in a professional and courteous manner.

We will never contact your clients for the purposes of soliciting work. It's bad for business and just not worth it.

At times your client may even ask us to quote on something directly. We will politely refer them back to you to supply the quote.

2. THOU SHALL GIVE QUICK QUOTES

When your clients request you to quote on something, we know that you want to get back to them with it quickly. And we know there is nothing more annoying then waiting 4 days for one of your suppliers to get back to you with their quote.

That's why we put together a rate card that you can have on hand to quote with. Of course every website is different and we still need to check out the designs or sitemap of your site to give a more specific quote, but you can reference this rate card with a pretty good idea of what our component is going to cost you.

3. THOU SHALL NOT CHARGE THROUGH THINE ARSE

If you have any experience with programmers before I am sure you have noticed we don't exactly work for award wage. I bet at school you thought us nerds were destined for minimum wage public service jobs? Well who's laughing now!

But seriously we simply believe in a fair pay for a fair days work like any one else. We will give you a quote up front that is purely based on previous experience of how long it will take us combined with standard industry rates.

We then split it up into two installments with one at the start and one at the end when you are happy with the live site. Simple.

To access our trade-only rate card and our full terms and conditions please fill out the form here.

4. THOU SHALL RESPOND QUICKLY

If you need us as a matter of urgency then shoot us an email. We are programmers and as much as we love tinkering with our Android/iPhones we have them turned off for most of the day. However, we are always on our computers and will respond quickly to your email.

5. THOU SHALL NOT BE TOO NERDY

We know that you have enough going on in your line of work without having to understand the intricacies of various programming languages. We pride ourselves on explaining complex ideas in basic terms so that we are all on the same page.

6. THOU SHALL NOT HASSLE THY CLIENT

You have enough to do in managing the client and the design stage without managing a bunch of programmers as well. That's why our method for building websites is planned around clear stages some of which require your output, but most of which don't.

We have built a lot of sites in the past and for anything that was missed in the discovery stage we can be trusted to make the most appropriate decision on the fly.

7. THOU SHALL NOT LEAVE THE CLIENT HANGING

Before launching a new website we test the site thoroughly across multiple browsers and in a variety of mediums (mac, PC's, iPad, iPhone etc). But it is quite common for a few little bugs to turn up after the site has launched. To counter this we offer 3 months of free support with every website that we build.

After this point everything should be ironed out however we are always available to assist should something go wrong or if the client wishes to make new additions to the site.

8. THOU SHALL IMPART THY KNOWLEDGE

The web is a fast moving environment. We feel it is our job to keep up-to-date with this constantly changing environment and to share with you the most important bits or at least the bits that matter the most to your work.

That's why we regularly publish information in a variety of formats such as e-books, blog articles, Twitter / Facebook updates and more.

9. THOU SHALL BE OPEN AND HONEST

If we stuff up, we will tell you. If we are not going to make a deadline, we will let you know. Although we take pride in our track record for delivering what we say we will, sometimes stuff happens. And when it does we believe in being upfront and honest with our clients so that we can work together to find a solution.

10. THOU SHALL NOT COMMIT MURDER

No seriously. It's just a bad idea.
